Nigerian citizens are shown wearing black blindfolds that read the various issues that plagued the nation prior to gaining its independence like &#8220;greed,&#8221; &#8220;corruption&#8221; and &#8220;fear.&#8221; M.anifest also guests in the sobering Clarence Peters-directed clip.<\/p>\n<p>A separate narrator takes over to leave viewers with a bold final message, which is the fact that\u00a0Nigeria was acquired by Britain purely as a business transaction. &#8220;The British Government paid 865,000 pounds, a huge amount in 1900. So let\u2019s establish a simple truth: The British didn\u2019t travel halfway across the world just to spread democracy.
