{"id":11919,"date":"2019-10-15T10:47:33","date_gmt":"2019-10-15T10:47:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/?p=11919"},"modified":"2019-10-15T10:47:33","modified_gmt":"2019-10-15T10:47:33","slug":"nduom-worse-than-nam1-aggrieved-gold-coast-customers-protest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/2019\/10\/15\/nduom-worse-than-nam1-aggrieved-gold-coast-customers-protest\/","title":{"rendered":"Nduom Worse Than NAM1 &#8211; Aggrieved Gold Coast Customers Protest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aggrieved customers of Gold Coast Fund Management have likened the Chairman of Groupe Nduom, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom to estranged Menzgold boss, Nana Appiah Mensah.<\/p>\n<p>According to the customers who are protesting today, Dr Nduom is no different from NAM1 because he has absconded with their money to the United States.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Dr. Nduom is worse than Nam 1\u2019, some of the many placards displayed by the demonstrators read.<\/p>\n<p>The customers are agitated by Groupe Nduom\u2019s claim that they were directed by the Security and Exchange Commission to invest the money they had for a 3-year period.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe signed a contract. Did you inform me before reinvesting my money?\u201d they questioned.<\/p>\n<p>They are calling for the arrest of Dr Nduom, stating that he is not above the law.<\/p>\n<p>Public Relations Officer for the group, Charles Nyame, described the situation as unfair stating that there are many people suffering because their monies have been locked up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is our hard-earned money people have saved since the bank started and there is nothing to show for it.
