Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade have been widely praised for the way in which they have supported Wade\u2019s son, Zion, as he explores his identity. The 12-year-old had his family in tow when he attended the Miami Pride parade earlier this year, and now it\u2019s clear that the Being Mary Jane<\/i> star is willing to clap back at haters who make ignorant comments about her family online.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, the retired NBA player posted a picture of the Bring It On starlet, their daughter Kaavia James Union Wade, and Wade\u2019s 12-year-old child Zion, on his Instagram story. He captioned the picture,<\/p>\n

\u201cMy Girls,\u201d with a black and red heart emoji.<\/p>\n

Sadly, the post attracted more than a few hateful comments and Union was quick to put at least one hater in their place.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday (Oct. 15), Union retweeted a message from a follower that read \u201cWhat y\u2019all think about this?\u201d and added a comment of her own:<\/p>\n

The scathing clapback has been shared more than 4,000 times with over 12,000 Likes as of Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n

Zion is the former Miami Heat shooting guard\u2019s child with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches. In April, the retired NBA player and Union showed their support for Zion when he attended the Miami Pride parade.<\/p>\n

USA Today reports Wade shared a photo of Zion, Union and others with the sweet caption, “Zion had his… cheering section today. Wish I was there to see you smile kid!\u201d Wade was in Toronto for an NBA game.<\/p>\n

The Nebraska-born actress rode a float with Kaavia, Zion, and Zaire, Wade and Funches oldest son during the parade, sharing her own Instagram Story photos and videos from the event.<\/p>\n

Wade and Union\u2019s love and unconditional support for Zion has been praised on social media ever since.<\/p>\n
