In fact, over the weekend, he revealed his conversion to Christianity became real this year.<\/p>\n<p>While visiting Howard University in Washington D.C. for a pop-up service, the \u201cJesus Walks\u201d rapper he shared his beliefs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you believe that Jesus died for your sins, then you know the gospel&#8230; it&#8217;s simple. We&#8217;re here to spread the gospel,&#8221; he said to applause, in a video.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Ye was all smiles as he joked about his favorite version of the Bible, which is King James because it says \u201cye\u201d throughout.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Excuse me if I mispronounce anything,\u201d he told listeners while reading a few Bible verses. \u201cI&#8217;m a recent convert that means I recently got saved this year.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This goes the same for his children who were baptized over the weekend at one of the oldest churches in the world in his wife&#8217;s family&#8217;s homeland, Armenia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"tR2pe\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"tN4sQ zRsZI\">\n<div class=\"NgKI_\">\n<div class=\"MreMs\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">\n<div class=\"qqm6D\">\n<div class=\"bsGjF\">\n<div class=\"ZyFrc\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">\n<div class=\"eLAPa RzuR0\">\n<div class=\"KL4Bh\">\n<p>Reportedly,\u00a0<i>Placerita Bible Church<\/i>&#8216;s Senior Pastor\u00a0<b>Adam Tyson<\/b>, has been leading the rapper\/producer in bible study for months now.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Kanye started visiting our church back in mid-May,&#8221; Tyson told\u00a0Fox News.\u00a0&#8220;He asked me to help him to learn more about God from the Bible so, I started a Bible study with him and others in Calabasas in August.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In a song played at the listening party, a song titled,\u00a0&#8220;Closed on Sunday,&#8221;\u00a0Ye sings, &#8220;You my Chick-fil-A&#8230; follow Jesus.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong class=\"listicle-module__list-item-title\">Swizz Beatz, Rick Fox And More Out Come Out To Jamaica Queens As Kanye West Freestyles At The Greater Allen A.M.E. This Sunday, &#8216;Ye brought his praise and worship session to the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral in Jamaica Queens along with his 150-voice choir, his nine-man band and his family in tow.
