Harris\u2018 <em>ExpediTIously<\/em> podcast and shared his side of the story, revealing why he was so upset with Eminem over the diss track.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThink about it\u2026 I think we was flying back on a jet from Africa somewhere and this motherf\u2014er drops a song, like talking s\u2014, calling her all kind of bitches and h\u2014s,\u201d Cannon explained on the podcast last week. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018This my wife! I think you\u2019re one of the best to ever to do it, but from man to man, you talking out of pocket to my wife. You\u2019ve gotta be held accountable for that so I need to see you face to face,&#8217;\u201d Cannon recalled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was ready for whatever. I went looking for him \u2026 \u2018Cause you done disrespecting my wife and I need to show my wife I\u2019m a man, number one,\u201d he went on. \u201cAnd then two, he said my name. I said, \u2018I know I\u2019m not gonna be able to out-rap you, but I will whoop your ass.\u2019 Those were the exact words at the time. Cooler heads prevailed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the years since the drama unfolded, Cannon said Eminem has apologized and he has invited the rapper to \u201chave some fun with it now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t wanna fight anymore!\u201d he shared. \u201cHe still in my top five, but I feel like anytime somebody says something \u2026 you\u2019ve just gotta be held accountable. If you say something, we gonna have to have this conversation like men. Benett\/Getty<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Carey and Cannon first met in 2005 at the Teen Choice Awards, but only started dating in late March 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Just weeks later, to the shock of a lot of their friends and family, they whisked off to Carey\u2019s Bahamian estate and wed in a sunset, ocean-side ceremony on April 30, 2008.<\/p>\n<p>In 2011, the pair welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe, now 8.
