Following the release of his Jesus Is King<\/i> project, Kanye West\u2019s 2019 keeps getting busier.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This past weekend, Ye touched down in Houston to join famed pastor and televangelist Joel Osteen at his Lakewood Church for Sunday Service. Shortly after, he\u00a0 announced via Twitter that he’s currently preparing his first-ever opera, Nebuchadnezzar<\/i>, as well. In less than 24 hours, Ye returned to the platform with more exciting news: Jesus Is King II<\/i>.<\/p>\n

The Chicagoan revealed the news on Tuesday (November 18), which comes with a hip-hop head\u2019s dream team, as Ye is currently working on the collaborative project alongside Compton-bred rapper-producer icon Dr.Dre. He shared a photo of himself and Dre in a studio together casually dressed down in sweats, and it appears they\u2019re going steady on the highly anticipated sequel to Jesus Is King<\/i>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYe and Dre Jesus is King Part II coming soon,\u201d the Chicagoan penned in the post. Dre published an identical post to his 2.9 million followers on his own official Twitter account as well.<\/p>\n

News of another Kanye album comes as no surprise, but it\u2019s an exciting prospect to see two musical geniuses come together. This announcement comes less than a month after Ye announced on Beats 1 radio he had plans to drop a companion album, Jesus Is Born<\/i>, Christmas 2019 before his ninth studio album had even dropped.<\/p>\n

Fans are ecstatic and over the moon at the revelation that two of hip-hop\u2019s titans will be on an official record together.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Dre tweeting this, you know it\u2019s going down,\u201d one fan commented on Twitter.<\/p>\n

Kanye has spoken highly of Dre in the past and his desire to work with the legendary producer, whom he first met in 2003 when Dre asked him to produce a track for the Game. \u201cAt first I was star-struck, but within 30 minutes I was begging him to mix my next album,\u201d Ye recollected of the experience to Rolling Stone<\/i> for their 100 Greatest Artists feature in 2010.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe’s the definition of a true talent: Dre feels like God placed him here to make music, and no matter what forces are aligned against him, he always ends up on the mountaintop,\u201d the \u201cJesus Walks\u201d rapper said of Dre at the time, and it seems his wishes are coming true.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Kanye will undoubtedly be busy for the next few days with Nebuchadnezzar<\/i>, which he plans to debut at the Hollywood Bowl on the Sunday (Nov. 24) ahead of Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n
