{"id":18462,"date":"2022-03-21T04:54:20","date_gmt":"2022-03-21T04:54:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/?p=18462"},"modified":"2026-07-05T15:19:21","modified_gmt":"2026-07-05T15:19:21","slug":"adwoa-safowhat-else-do-you-what-majority-chief-whip-roars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/2022\/03\/21\/adwoa-safowhat-else-do-you-what-majority-chief-whip-roars\/","title":{"rendered":"Adwoa Safo,what else do you what?-Majority Chief Whip Roars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annor Dompreh\u00a0Nsawam-Adoagyiri MP has panned his colleague Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo over her continuous absence.<\/p>\n<p>The MP for Dome-Kwabenya who according to reports has been on leave since August 31, 2021,\u00a0has been at the receiving end of flak from her colleagues and some New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives following her continuous absence in Parliament.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sabotage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The MP for New Juabeng South, Michael Okyere Baafi has accused\u00a0the Minister for Women, Gender and Social Protection of sabotaging the government and using her seat &#8220;as a bargaining chip&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The NPP MPs go to Parliament except for one person, Adwoa Safo. We don\u2019t know where Adwoa Safo is . . . she doesn\u2019t come to parliament and it\u2019s worrying . . . clearly her behaviour shows she wants to sabotage NPP; I\u2019m speaking on authority . . . she\u2019s to be blamed for all our problems. If you\u2019re sick, you don\u2019t have to blackmail the party. We need to call a spade a spade . . . &#8221; he lamented.<\/p>\n<p>The MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong also said: \u201cShe says she wants to be Deputy Majority, that woman has failed in life. A whole cabinet minister now demanding that she should be made a Deputy Majority Leader before she comes, she should go to hell.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou don\u2019t come to Parliament and you are on TikTok dancing? Dome Kwabenya is not for Apostle Kwadwo Safo, get it straight. I am very furious because people are insulting me because I went there to campaign for her.<\/p>\n<p>Mike Oquaye the Speaker, the man that I respect very well, I campaigned against his son because Adwoa used my kids, calling me and begging me to help her. And now everybody is insulting me for doing that but I have not regretted it, she is very responsible when it comes to the kids\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>what else do you want?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Frank Annor Dompreh, Nsawam-Adoagyiri MP, speaking in an interview with\u00a0<strong>JoyNews<\/strong>\u2019 Evans Mensah indicated how he has been &#8220;very quiet and very tolerant and very diplomatic about this whole happening relative to Adwoa Safo&#8230;but the way it\u2019s going, she is blackmailing the entire system and it is most unfair\u2026&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to him, &#8220;If somebody decides to sabotage government and the person care less the effects of his or her actions; it is difficult to control the person\u2026It\u2019s even difficult to reach her\u2026I don\u2019t want it to look like I\u2019m zeroing in on her alone; it\u2019s just unfortunate; I entered parliament with her; she was fortunate and she was made a minister. A whole ministry was created for her and then she was also made a deputy leader. What\u2019s she talking about??? She has no basis whatsoever to behave the way she\u2019s behaving&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bow your head in shame<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Annor Dompreh also described as totally unacceptable the fact that Adwoa Safo seems to be holding everybody to ransom.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Her behaviour is most unfair and I don\u2019t know what else she wants. Are you the only NPP member who has the credibility and competence to serve? She must bow her head down in shame.
