Neymar and Kylian Mbappe have admitted their regret that their on-field chemistry with Lionel Messi has only started to bloom recently.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, Mbappe and Neymar netted a hat-trick each as PSG thrashed Clermont Foot 6-1 in Ligue 1. Although he failed to score, Messi was instrumental in the victory, laying on three assists for his teammates.<\/p>\n Speaking to Canal Plus France<\/em> after the game, Mbappe said, “The connection on the field with Messi and Neymar, it’s a shame it’s only happening now.<\/p>\n “But we feel that we\u2019re three quality players, and we trying to help the team as much as possible and that\u2019s what happened today.<\/p>\n “That\u2019s life, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, you have to keep looking forward. We had some pain, which is still present but you need to keep positive, we have to show that we\u2019re a big club and a big team and that we\u2019re here to win trophies.”<\/p>\n Mbappe’s attacking partner Neymar also admitted regret at the famous trio’s partnership only starting to flourish at the end of the season.<\/p>\n Neymar said, “First of all I\u2019m very happy to have won tonight. I\u2019m also happy to have scored three goals. We\u2019re getting better and better.<\/p>\n “All three of us are at 100% but only at the end of the season.
