\u201cPlanning? I wouldn\u2019t say planning,\u201d<\/span> she told Vogue about her upcoming motherhood. \u201cBut certainly not planning against it. I don\u2019t know when I ovulate or any of that type of (expletive). We just had fun. And then it was just there on the test.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now in her third trimester, the music star, and fashion and beauty mogul hasn\u2019<\/span>t exactly been hiding under a maternity tent since she and boyfriend A$AP Rocky announced they were expecting in late January via a wintry New York street photo shoot. Since, she\u2019<\/span>s made the fashion week rounds in Milan and Paris wearing a range of belly–<\/span>bearing couture.<\/p>\n

If it\u2019s not something she would have put on pre–<\/span>pregnancy, Rihanna said, it\u2019s not something on her list now.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy body is doing incredible things right now, and I\u2019m not going to be ashamed of that,\u201d<\/span> she said. \u201c<\/span>This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?\u201d<\/p>\n

The cover interview, out Tuesday, has 34–<\/span>year–<\/span>old Rihanna in a lacy red Ala\u00efa bodysuit and long gloves. It\u2019<\/span>s just one of the numerous rule–<\/span>breaking designer looks she\u2019<\/span>s been wearing in celebration of her bump.<\/p>\n

So how is she feeling about the next part, where she actually gives birth and scheduling possibly kicks in?<\/p>\n

Rihanna wishes all of her closest loved ones could be in the room, but that seems unlikely under COVID–<\/span>19 rules. She didn\u2019<\/span>t disclose where she\u2019<\/span>ll be headed for labor and delivery \u2014 or when she\u2019<\/span>s due for that matter.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe I\u2019ll just have a party bus parked outside or something,\u201d she said. And what frightens her the most? \u201cPostpartum depression. Will I feel out of control emotionally? Those are the stories I hear from other women that scare me.\u201d<\/p>\n
