{"id":23379,"date":"2022-06-13T22:15:26","date_gmt":"2022-06-13T22:15:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/?p=23379"},"modified":"2022-06-13T22:15:26","modified_gmt":"2022-06-13T22:15:26","slug":"marwako-foods-heavily-laden-with-pathogens-cooked-under-poor-conditions-fda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/2022\/06\/13\/marwako-foods-heavily-laden-with-pathogens-cooked-under-poor-conditions-fda\/","title":{"rendered":"Marwako foods heavily laden with pathogens, cooked under &#8216;poor&#8217; conditions \u2013 FDA"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"article-reading-content\">\n<div class=\"article-reading-summary\">\n<p>The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has said it found, through its investigations into a recent food poisoning incident at Marwako restaurant at East Legon that the food served customers by the eatery was prepared under poor sanitation conditions and, thus, heavily laden with pathogens.<\/p>\n<p>The Authority said its investigations from samples of the food taken from the restaurant showed that \u201cthe levels of sanitation and hygiene in the food preparation areas in all three facilities were poor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe temperature of deep freezers and refrigerators were far above the acceptable ranges.
