{"id":25035,"date":"2022-08-22T20:04:07","date_gmt":"2022-08-22T20:04:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/?p=25035"},"modified":"2026-07-05T15:44:32","modified_gmt":"2026-07-05T15:44:32","slug":"menzgold-customers-worried-over-claims-theres-no-evidence-to-prosecute-nam-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/2022\/08\/22\/menzgold-customers-worried-over-claims-theres-no-evidence-to-prosecute-nam-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Menzgold customers worried over claims there\u2019s no evidence to prosecute NAM 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Coalition of Aggrieved Customers of Menzgold says recent revelations on the difficulty in gathering evidence for the prosecution of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Menzgold Ghana Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah known as NAM 1, underscores the need for government to step in and pay their locked-up capital.<\/p>\n<p>Director General of the Economic and Organised Crime Office, COP Maame Tiwaa Addo Danquah is on record to have highlighted difficulties faced by the state in <strong>prosecuting<\/strong> the CEO of the gold dealership firm.<\/p>\n<p>But in an interview with Citi News,monitored by <strong>nsemgh,<\/strong> spokesperson for the customers, Frederick Forson indicated that his outfit is not surprised by the revelation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCustomers have been in need, our time has been wasted and above all, 183 people have died without any reason. The delay in government\u2019s action with respect to paying the customers has amounted to nothing.
