Doctors have expressed concern for the Queen\u2019s health and recommended she remain under medical supervision, Buckingham Palace has said.<\/p>\n
In a statement, the palace said: \u201cFollowing further evaluation this morning, the Queen\u2019s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty\u2019s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral Castle.<\/p>\n
The Commons Speaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, told MPs: \u201cI know I speak on behalf of the entire house when I say that we send our best wishes to Her Majesty the Queen and that she and the royal family are in our thoughts and prayers at this moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
Concerns over the health of the 96-year-old head of state escalated when she pulled out of a virtual privy council meeting on Wednesday after doctors ordered her to rest.<\/p>\n
Prince Charles was at her side, and Prince William was travelling to be with her.<\/p>\n
A Clarence House spokesman said: \u201cTheir Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have travelled to Balmoral.\u201d<\/p>\n
A Kensington palace spokesman said: \u201cThe Duke of Cambridge is travelling to Balmoral.\u201d<\/p>\n
The prime minister, Liz Truss, said: \u201cThe whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime.\u201d<\/p>\n
