Kanye West<\/strong>‘s\u00a0talent agency CAA has\u00a0officially\u00a0dropped the “Donda” rapper following his series of\u00a0anti-Semitic comments.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I can confirm that Kanye is not a client,” a CAA spokesperson said in an Oct. 24 statement to\u00a0NBC News.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, a completed documentary about\u00a0West\u00a0has also been shelved, with MRC\u00a0Entertainment studio executives\u00a0Modi Wiczyk<\/strong>,\u00a0Asif Satchu<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Scott Tenley<\/strong>\u00a0announcing in an Oct. 24 letter to NBC News, “We cannot support any content that amplifies his platform.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Last week he sampled and remixed a classic tune that has charted for over 3000 years\u2014the lie that Jews are evil and conspire to control the world for their own gain,” their letter continued. “This song was performed acapella in the time of the Pharaohs, Babylon and Rome, went acoustic with The Spanish Inquisition and Russia’s Pale of Settlement, and Hitler took the song electric. Kanye has now helped mainstream it in the modern era.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

E! News has previously reached out to Kanye’s team for a response has not heard back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The news comes just days after fashion label\u00a0Balenciaga announced that it severed its\u00a0ties to\u00a0West, who walked in the luxury label’s spring\/summer 2023 fashion show in Paris on Oct. 2.\u00a0West’s runway image was then removed from both\u00a0Vogue<\/em>‘s and Balenciaga’s website and pieces from his Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collaboration were\u00a0wiped from Gap’s site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in September, West said he\u00a0terminated the contract\u00a0between his company Yeezy and Gap Inc.\u00a0accusing\u00a0Gap’s “substantial noncompliance,” according to\u00a0CBNC)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response, E! News obtained a Sep. 15 message from President & CEO of Gap Mark Breitbard<\/strong> that was sent to Gap employees, in which Breitbard wrote, “Simply put…while we share a vision of bringing high-quality, trend-forward, utilitarian design to all people through unique omni experiences with Yeezy Gap, how we work together to deliver this vision is not aligned. And we are deciding to wind down the partnership.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(At this time, Adidas has\u00a0not ended its partnership\u00a0with West.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this month\u2014following his\u00a0White Lives Matter-themed Yeezy fashion show\u2014West, 46, found himself banned from Instagram and Twitter after posting a\u00a0series of\u00a0anti-Semitic comments, including one\u00a0in which he declared “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.” Twitter and Meta (Instagram’s parent company) both\u00a0citied violations of company policies\u00a0for the reason.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
