\u201cLet\u2019s always remember this as my final tweet,\u201d Ye wrote, posting an unflattering image of Musk half-naked on a yacht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat is fine,\u201d Musk replied. \u201cThis is not,\u201d he wrote on the deleted swastika tweet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The rapper then began posting on Truth Social, the social media platform started by former US president Donald Trump, sharing text messages purportedly from Musk, in which the billionaire appeared to attempt to reason with him about the tweet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSorry, but you have gone too far. This is not love,\u201d Musk wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWho made you the judge,\u201d Ye wrote back. He then shared a screenshot of his Twitter account showing he had been banned from tweeting for 12 hours for violating the platform\u2019s rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Musk confirmed Ye\u2019s suspension. \u201cI tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shielded behind a face mask, Ye appeared alongside white supremacist Nick Fuentes on InfoWars, a show hosted by far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, in an episode posted online on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The rapper said: \u201cI see good things about Hitler \u2026 Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jones replied: \u201cThe Nazis were thugs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut they did good things too,\u201d Ye said. \u201cWe gotta stop dissing the Nazis all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh my goodness \u2026 just because you don\u2019t like one group doesn\u2019t mean \u2013 \u201d Jones said, clearly uncomfortable. Ye interrupted: \u201cI love Jewish people. But I also love Nazis.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t think Hitler was a good guy,\u201d Jones stated later. Ye replied: \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of things that I love about Hitler. A lot of things.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Norm Coleman and Matt Brooks, leaders of the Republican Jewish Coalition, condemned Ye\u2019s comments, saying: \u201cGiven his praise of Hitler, it can\u2019t be overstated that Kanye West is a vile, repellent bigot who has targeted the Jewish community with threats and Nazi-style defamation. Conservatives who have mistakenly indulged Kanye West must make it clear that he is a pariah. Enough is enough.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
