In the discussion about the difficulties of a marriage, she said that she and her husband hadn\u2019t discussed how much work is required and \u201chow hard it is even when you are madly in love with the person, even when everything works out right\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a recent extract from her book published in the Guardian, the former first lady described how she and her husband learned that for all the \u201cdreaming, preparing and planning for family life to go perfectly \u2026 in the end, you\u2019re pretty much just left to deal with whatever happens\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
