Actor Jeremy Renner says he broke more than 30 bones in a snowplow accident on New Year\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Renner, 52, said earlier that he is recovering at home from what Nevada authorities say were serious chest injuries he suffered when he was run over by his 7-ton Pistenbully snow groomer while helping free a relative\u2019s car on a private road near Lake Tahoe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In social media posts Saturday, Renner expressed \u201cmuch love and appreciation\u201d to people for their \u201cmessages and thoughtfulness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThese 30 plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens,\u201d he wrote. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also said \u201cmorning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular new years \u2026. Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier, in a response to a Twitter post Monday about his Paramount+ series \u201cMayor of Kingstown,\u201d Renner said that \u201cOutside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
