{"id":29367,"date":"2023-01-27T14:11:10","date_gmt":"2023-01-27T14:11:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/?p=29367"},"modified":"2023-01-27T14:11:12","modified_gmt":"2023-01-27T14:11:12","slug":"unison-claims-that-jeremy-hunt-is-not-even-attempting-to-resolve-the-nhs-pay-conflict","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/2023\/01\/27\/unison-claims-that-jeremy-hunt-is-not-even-attempting-to-resolve-the-nhs-pay-conflict\/","title":{"rendered":"Unison claims that Jeremy Hunt is &#8220;not even attempting&#8221; to resolve the NHS pay conflict"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jeremy Hunt<\/strong> has been criticised by the public sector union <strong>Unison<\/strong> for \u201cnot even trying\u201d to unlock the health pay dispute after his speech this morning failed to address the ongoing dispute that risks dragging on for months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The chancellor\u2019s \u201cgrand vision for the future completely ignores vital public services\u201d, Unison\u2019s general secretary <strong>Christina McAnea<\/strong> said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She added:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The chancellor holds the key to unlock the damaging health pay dispute and rebuild the NHS, but he\u2019s not even trying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No plan for the economy can succeed unless the government also focuses on essential services.
