Kelly Clarkson didn’t skimp on the glamour as she hosted\u00a0the 12th Annual NFL Honors, which took place at Symphony Hall in Phoenix on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 40-year-old singer appeared in two show-stopping looks for the star-studded event ahead of\u00a0Super Bowl LVII.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She hit the red carpet in a glamorous black velvet Adidas X Gucci that clung to her curvaceous frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, she showed her team spirit by slipping into a blue football jersey-inspired dress for her performance spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday’s Super Bowl will see the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles at State Farm Stadium, where pop songstress Rihanna will perform at halftime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clarkson’s red carpet dress featured Adidas’ iconic white stripes down each sleeve, as well as both the Adidas and Gucci logos on the chest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A sizable train trailed behind Clarkson as she moved from pose to pose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Grammy-winning performer accessorized with a pair of mirrored chandelier earrings that added sparkle to her look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her bright blonde hair was worn sleek and straight as it hung down her back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Texas native’s fun jersey dress was meant to resemble those worn by the Dallas Cowboys — making it clear that it’s her preferred team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It had a billowing skirt that featured the last names of some of her favorite players, including running back Ezekiel Elliott and tight end Dalton Schultz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was announced that Clarkson would host the annual ceremony this past December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hitmaker is the first woman to headline the star-studded affair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Past figures who have hosted the ceremony include Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Harvey and Alec Baldwin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clarkson spoke about hosting the event with Entertainment Tonight, where she expressed that a lot of women make up the NFL’s fanbase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘I mean, that it’s a really cool thing. It’s a lot of weight to carry, ’cause I know there’s a lot of females in this whole industry in general,’ she explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clarkson said she was happy to be able to serve as the annual event’s first-ever female host. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘I’m gonna stand for them and I hope everybody has a good time tonight. I’m very proud to be the first one,’ she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clarkson humorously stated that she felt as if her past experience serving as the host of various other programs prepared her for the NFL Honors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘I guess [once] you host a show they start asking you to host everything. I’m excited though! This is actually the year I really got into football with my girlfriends and my sisters,’ she stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
