ALTHOUGH he has been quiet on the music scene for a while, Hiplife artiste Luther says he is the best male vocalist in Ghana at the moment.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u201cThe others are trying but they know deep within their hearts that I am the best male vocalist in Ghana.”<\/p>\n

“Apart from winning Best Male Vocalist in 2016 and 2017 at the Bass Awards<\/em> the other artistes in Ghana know they don\u2019t come close when you talk about the male artiste with with the finest voice,\u201d he told Showbiz<\/strong> at the recent launch of this year’s Homowo Festival<\/em> at the Accra Tourist Information Centre.<\/p>\n

Asked if the likes of KiDi, Kuami Eugene, King Promise or Akwaboah are not better than him, Luther said they don\u2019t come close to him adding that if a contest was held today, he would win hands down.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am not blowing my own horn but the truth has to be told, I am best at what I do and I don\u2019t see any competitor in Ghana at the moment. Maybe when I am not around, but so far as I’m alive no one comes close,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Asked what he has been up to, Luther who is known for songs like\u00a0 Dormi Tamor Son, Ooossshhhhh, Agboro, Double T<\/em> and We No Dey Fear<\/em> said he was taking care of family.<\/p>\n

\u201cI took a break to cater for my family but I am back full time. I have a lot of singles I will be dropping this year and I want Ghanaians to watch out for that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Luther is among the artistes performing at the Homowo Festival<\/em> scheduled to take place next month and he says he is going all out to make the event a memorable one.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s been long since I jumped on any event and I am asking Ghanaians to come see me and my other Ga artistes rock the event,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
