{"id":32574,"date":"2023-05-03T08:04:33","date_gmt":"2023-05-03T08:04:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/?p=32574"},"modified":"2023-05-03T08:04:35","modified_gmt":"2023-05-03T08:04:35","slug":"80-ghanaians-evacuated-safely-from-sudan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/2023\/05\/03\/80-ghanaians-evacuated-safely-from-sudan\/","title":{"rendered":"80 Ghanaians Evacuated Safely From Sudan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration says 80 Ghanaians have successfully been evacuated from Sudan amid the ongoing conflict in the Central African country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a press release dated May 2, 2023, the Ministry said that 74 Ghanaians arrived safely at the Kotoka International Airport on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/pub\/2023\/05\/image-4-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32580\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/pub\/2023\/05\/image-4-8.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/pub\/2023\/05\/image-4-8-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/pub\/2023\/05\/image-4-8-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/pub\/2023\/05\/image-4-8-750x500.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThey were met on arrival by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong, Ghana\u2019s Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union Commission (AU), Ambassador Amma A.
