According to the Waye Meyie<\/em> singer, all the eight artistes who made it to the Artiste of the Year category deserved it because they equally lived up to the mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI won\u2019t lie Black Sherif and all the other artistes who made there worked harder and it could have gone for any of us. Although the competition was tough between me and Black Sherif he won and I want to congratulate him on winning the ultimate\u201d she told Graphic Showbiz.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Asked whether she was pleased with the awards she won on the night, Piesie Esther who won Best Gospel Song and Best Gospel Artiste said she was more than pleased having won these two awards for the first time in 20 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00a0 \u201cI have been doing music for the past 20 years and I have not had any of these awards so winning big today is an incredible thing for me and I am so excited. I am grateful.
