The head coach of Paris Saint-Germain(PSG) Christophe Galtier has confirmed one of the world\u2019s best players, Lionel Messi will leaving PSG at the end of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since Messi moved to PSG in 2021, there has been series of rumors he will be returning to his first football home Barcelona even though he has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Galtier said; \u201cI had the privilege of coaching the best player in the history of football. This will be his last match at the Parc des Princes, and I hope that he will receive the warmest of welcomes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis year, he has been an important part of the team, always available. I don\u2019t think any of the comments or criticisms are justified. He\u2019s always been there for the team. It\u2019s been a great privilege to accompany him throughout the season.\u201d Galtier added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Messi has 21 goals and 20 assists to his credit in all competitions this season.
Messi was expected to extend his two-year deal with the club which is worth \u00a325m per year plus bonuses after tax been deducted but that will not be happening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
