{"id":34727,"date":"2023-06-06T03:27:32","date_gmt":"2023-06-06T03:27:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/?p=34727"},"modified":"2023-06-06T03:27:51","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T03:27:51","slug":"there-are-no-record-labels-in-ghana-empress-gifty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/2023\/06\/06\/there-are-no-record-labels-in-ghana-empress-gifty\/","title":{"rendered":"There are no record labels in Ghana \u2013 Empress Gifty\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ghanaian Gospel musician, Empress Gifty has expressed worry over the lack of investments in the Ghanaian music industry when it comes to the gospel sector. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Empress Gifty, there are no record labels in Ghana that are ready to take sole responsibility for artists signed under their care and as a result of this musicians especially gospel artists are finding it difficult to find their feet in the music game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking on Joy FM&#8217;s Showbiz A-Z\u00a0Empress Gifty said;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe don\u2019t have record labels in Ghana.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Do we have them?\u201d She asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThey are all doing their own thing.
