Prince Adu Mensah, a Ghanaian-American film-maker has become the youngest and first Ghanaian to be part of the executive production team that produced the film titled <\/span>Dissecting with Darcy<\/span><\/b>. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/b>

<\/p>

Dissecting with Darcy<\/span><\/b>,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>directed by Nigerian-Canadian film-maker Tomide Bamigboye was produced in the heart of Hollywood at the New York Film Academy.<\/a><\/span><\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dissecting with Darcy <\/span><\/b>is a film about <\/span>a 32-year-old journalist<\/a> named Darcy who due to lack of employment\u00a0moved to her parent\u2019s house in Rudoso, Indiana.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Darcy who is determined to make a name for herself as an investigative journalist, commenced a podcast to uncover unsolved murder cases in her town. As usual, Darcy is hosting an episode of her podcast when she gets a call from a mysterious man, Aarick who seems to know a lot about the murder victims. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

With determination\u00a0to find out who he is, Darcy kept\u00a0Aarick talking by asking him questions. And\u00a0answering Darcy\u2019s\u00a0questions, Aarick unknowingly\u00a0unravels a little part of himself. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Darcy\u2019s most loyal listener, Ricky tries to impress her by going ahead to solve the cases and finding out who the murderer is. Ricky seems to have a breakthrough in the case and tries to inform Darcy but she shuts him down,\u00a0Ricky\u00a0whose mind was made up,\u00a0goes\u00a0ahead to explore his findings on his own. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

Still on the phone call, Darcy thinks she is able to figure out who Aarick is after he reveals that he is a retired surgeon\u00a0but after her research,\u00a0she realizes that her information about Aarick\u00a0is false. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Sensing ‘defeat’,\u00a0Darcy lashes out at Aarick, hears Ricky through the phone, he is in Aarick\u2019s house. Darcy pleads with Aarick to let Ricky go but she is ignored. <\/span><\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Aarick convinces Ricky to allow him to end his life and Ricky agrees. After this incident, Darcy ends the\u00a0podcast episode. She then calls\u00a0her cousin Ricky and her grandpa and it is revealed that the podcast was a rouse to gain more <\/span>followers.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

D<\/span><\/b>issecting with Darcy <\/span><\/b>on the 17<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup>\u00a0August, 2023, was screened in Burbank, Los Angeles.<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prince Adu Mensah who is an excellent director,\u00a0is also a professional\u00a0writer. <\/span><\/span>The young Ghanaian-American has\u00a0written and directed a couple of\u00a0short films like \u201c<\/font>Amenyo\u201d<\/font>, \u201c<\/font>Hardened\u201d<\/font>, \u201c<\/font>Hear Me\u201d<\/font>, and many more.\u00a0Prince has also directed multiple commercials.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Prince who is passionate about promoting Ghanaian crew members who are perfect at production and directing has recruited majority of them to join the long list of international crew members.<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>Through Prince, Majeed Mohammed and Seth Osei have had the privilege to work on <\/span>Dissecting with Darcy <\/span><\/b>occupying the editing and visual effects positions.<\/span>

Majeed is known to have worked on young and vibrant Ghanaian superstar, Black Sherif\u2019s \u201cParadise\u201d music video while Seth Osei is widely known for being behind scenes of major Ghanaian productions as a VFX editor.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n
