Beyonce took to Instagram on Monday to thank Diana Ross for performing at her 42nd birthday concert in Los Angeles last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The singer shared a number of images from the show, as well as a clip, depicting the moment the iconic Supremes star, 79, took to the stage to sing her a Happy Birthday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Thank you to the incomparable Ms. Diana Ross. The 1 of 1, the number 1, the only one. Thank you from the depths of me, my Queen (bee emoji)’ Beyonce wrote in the caption of the post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two music superstars were pictured holding hands on stage, with Diana wowing in a floor-length sequin black gown, and Beyonce rocking a gold and black hand-print Loewe bodysuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyonce later thanked rapper Kendrick Lamar, 36, who also performed with her during the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The look consisted of a busty black lace and tulle bodysuit\/gown, made from a glittering material and featuring elbow-length matching gloves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mother-of-three accessorized with dangling silver earrings and wore her blonde tresses in loose waves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyonce also rocked perfect glam for her special night, accentuating her naturally stunning features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 70,000-plus capacity crowd at SoFi Stadium was quite stunned when diva Diana took to the stage in her glamorous glittering black gown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She helped lead the crowd in singing Happy Birthday at just after 11 PM on Monday evening, hours after rumors surfaced that she would make a surprise appearance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like the first two concerts in L.A. over the weekend, the crowd was filled with celebrities, like Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet, who went public with their romance after month of rumors that they have been dating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other celebs in attendance included Adele, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Kate Hudson, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Chris Rock, Lizzo, Katy Perry, Kate Hudson, Normani, Brandy, Kim and Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian, and many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She lead the crowd in a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday, and after the song they embraced again, as Ross is heard asking, ‘Were you surprised?’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Thank you so much! You are so amazing! This is the legendary Diana Ross!’ Beyonce said as the crowd cheered for both living legends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After performing Flaws and All, she delivered a passionate birthday speech, thanking the fans, her family and the original members of her group Destiny’s Child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘My soul is full. I\u2019m so thankful, I\u2019m trying not to cry. I\u2019m thankful to be alive. I\u2019m thankful to be on stage. I\u2019m thankful to look out and see your faces,’ she began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘I\u2019m thankful to be able to provide a safe space for all of y\u2019all. I\u2019m thankful for music, for the ability to heal myself through music which then heals all of you,’ she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She went on to thank her parents Tina and Matthew Knowles and her husband Jay-Z, even referencing her hit 2016 album Lemonade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘I\u2019m thankful for every tear, for every year. I\u2019m thankful for my children. I\u2019m thankful for my husband. I\u2019m thankful for all the s**t we\u2019ve been through,’ she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘I\u2019m thankful for all of you guys who have been with me since 1997. I\u2019m thankful for every flaw, for every stretch mark, every FUPA. I thank you that I\u2019m here at f***ing 42. I\u2019m grateful for joy and I thank God. I thank you, God,’ she concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
