{"id":40175,"date":"2023-11-20T18:20:33","date_gmt":"2023-11-20T18:20:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/?p=40175"},"modified":"2026-07-09T17:32:12","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T17:32:12","slug":"sports-ministry-condemns-attack-on-nsoatreman-fc-coach-maxwell-konadu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nsemgh.com\/2023\/11\/20\/sports-ministry-condemns-attack-on-nsoatreman-fc-coach-maxwell-konadu\/","title":{"rendered":"Sports Ministry Condemns Attack On Nsoatreman FC Coach, Maxwell Konadu"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Youth and Sports has strongly condemned the violent attack that occurred during a match between Bofoakwa Tano and Nsoatreman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry, in a statement dated November 20, implored the police to swiftly bring the perpetrators to book to deter others from committing such dastardly acts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry further urged football enthusiasts and stakeholders to uphold the values of fair play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The incident occurred during the Match Day 11 encounter between Bofoakwa Tano FC and Nsoatreman FC on November 19, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The situation escalated to the point where Nsoatreman FC coach, Maxwell Konadu, was allegedly physically assaulted by fans of Bofoakwa Tano FC at the Sunyani Coronation Park for securing a draw against the home team, Bofoakwa Tano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fans also attacked the match officials.
