Prince Harry is flying home to the UK to be reunited with his father, King Charles III, in the wake of the latter\u2019s cancer diagnosis, Page Six can exclusively reveal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The office of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirms the renegade royal, 39, will head to London on Monday and has already spoken to the king following his diagnosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry\u2019s wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will not be heading across the pond with him, we\u2019re told.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Duke of Sussex has been kept in the loop by royal sources about his 75-year-old father\u2019s health, including updates on his recent prostate procedure, we\u2019re told by royal staffers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, there will be no public statement\u00a0from Prince William and Kate Middleton, who is recovering from her own surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, we\u2019re told the Prince of Wales, 41, is in regular contact with his father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The royal family announced Charles\u2019 shocking diagnosis Monday afternoon, noting that it is a different issue from the one for which he recently got surgery<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDuring The King\u2019s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted,\u201d the palace said in a statement. \u201cSubsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHis Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThroughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual,\u201d the palace added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charles looked to be in good spirits on Sunday when he attended a church service with Queen Camilla in Sandringham, England. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

News of his diagnosis comes just a week after the monarch was discharged from the hospital following the treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHis Majesty would like to thank the medical team and all those involved in supporting his hospital visit, and is grateful for all the kind messages he has received in recent days,\u201d Buckingham Palace said in a statement on Jan. 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charles became king in September 2022 following his mother Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s death at the age of 96.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The royal family \u2014 including Princes William and George, the next in line for the throne, and Prince Harry, sans Markle \u2014 attended his coronation, which took place in May 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
