Jennifer Lopez appeared to suffer an on-air mishap when she was seen yanking a hair extension from her head during a performance on \u201cSaturday Night Live.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The songstress, 54, was singing her new song \u201cCan\u2019t Get Enough\u201d with Latto and REDMAN, who joined her on stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amid the high-energy choreography, one of her extensions seemingly came loose and she pulled it out on live TV. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In true Lopez fashion, she didn\u2019t miss a beat and continued performing in Studio 8H as if nothing had happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat a performer, shake it off and keep on! \ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f\u201d one fan wrote on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another chimed in, \u201cThe show must go on. JLO ate up that performance \ud83d\udd25.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cHustlers\u201d actress cut a cool figure in a cropped white button-down, a cropped black jacket and matching black pants with cutouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Feb. 3 episode was hosted by \u201cThe Bear\u201d actress, Ayo Edebiri, who came under fire after a resurfaced clip showed her claiming that Lopez doesn\u2019t know how to sing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During\u00a0a 2020 appearance\u00a0on the \u201cScam Goddess\u201d podcast, the now-28-year-old joked that the Grammy nominee\u2019s career was \u201cone long scam.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe thinks she\u2019s on multiple tracks, but it\u2019s not her,\u201d Edebiri claimed at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think she thinks that she\u2019s still good even though she\u2019s not singing for most of these songs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was joined by host, Ayo Edebiri, who previously criticized Lopez\u2019s talent. Will Heath\/NBC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Emmy winner also admitted that she was \u201cfascinated\u201d with the \u201cOn the Floor\u201d chart topper\u2019s career and \u201cread up on\u201d theories that she didn\u2019t actually sing all of her music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA lot of the write-ups of the songs will be like, \u2018J. Lo didn\u2019t have time to make it to the studio,\u2019 like, \u2018J. Lo was busy,\u2019\u201d she claimed. \u201cIt\u2019s like, \u2018Doing what?\u2019 Not singing, obviously!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nevertheless, Edebiri addressed the controversy during a sketch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s wrong to leave mean comments or post comments just for clout or run your mouth on a podcast and you don\u2019t consider the impact because you\u2019re 24 and stupid,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later in the show, Lopez sang the title track from her new album \u201cThis Is Me\u2026 Now,\u201d while rocking a pink floral, floor-length gown with a daring split.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
