The All Regional Games (ARG) 2024 torch relay had a different color when Team Gyan landed in Damongo, the capital of the Savannah Rregion, after completing same at Wa in the Upper West Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Damongo’s reception for Team Gyan was beyond words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Coordinator for Damongo had assembled a crowd which was ecstatic to see the former Black Stars captain and his team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After presenting the flamed torch,to the Sports Development Director at the Regional Coordinatimg Council Honorable Alhassan Ibrahim Jahad, the mamoth crowd led Gyan, his brother Baffour and Chief Franklin ( Project Coordinator -ARG 2024) on a float through town amidst music, dancing and jama songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So euphoric was the Damongo torch relay experience to the extent that, Gyan could not hide his joy than to address the milling crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
