This has led to grounded flights and widespread delays, particularly among major U.S. airlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite Microsoft\u2019s assurance that the issue has been resolved, problems persist, with blue error screens appearing on public displays across the U.S. and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement released on Friday, the GACL management clarified that the KIA has remained unaffected by this disruption, and all flights are operating as per their schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe would like to assure the general public that Kotoka International Airport\u2019s IT systems are intact. However, due to the global nature of the glitch, some flight delays and interruptions may be experienced from countries affected by the glitch, which may have a slight impact on Accra\u201d, the statement read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So far, out of the 24 International airlines operating at KIA, only one has had to cancel some of its scheduled flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAll other operations are uninterrupted and on schedule as usual\u201d, the statement concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The GACL has assured that it will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide necessary updates to the travelling public as the situation evolves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has confirmed that the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) remains unaffected by the ongoing global IT outage that has disrupted operations at several airports and airlines worldwide.
