Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Ghana\u2019s current Vice President, serves as the head of the economic management team under the nation\u2019s constitution. While his role is significant, it is primarily advisory, akin to the Council of State. This has raised questions about his influence and responsibility for the country\u2019s economic trajectory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bawumia\u2019s Role and Challenges<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even within the NPP, internal politics and infighting have posed challenges. Some party members view leadership as a birthright, and when denied opportunities, they either resign or form splinter parties. This attitude undermines unity and progress within the party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
