The said incident is a reported case under investigation which occurred on 8th December 2024,\u201d the statement clarified. \u00a0<br>The Police emphasised that the events depicted in the video were unrelated to the EC\u2019s activities, noting that the re-collation exercise took place in Accra and not Nsawam Adoagyiri. \u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public urged to disregard claims&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ghana Police Service urged the public to disregard the video and refrain from sharing unverified information that could incite unnecessary panic or tension. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe, therefore, urge the public to disregard the false claim,\u201d the statement read. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Police also reassured the public of their commitment to ensuring peace and security during the ongoing electoral processes. \u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adequate security measures in place &nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To allay public concerns, the Police confirmed that sufficient security personnel had been deployed in and around Nsawam Adoagyiri.
