The John Dramani Mahama-led government has appointed Prof. Ransford Edward Van Gyampo as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Shippers Authority (GSA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Gyampo, a respected academic from the University of Ghana\u2019s Political Science Department, officially steps into the role, taking over from Kwesi Baffour Sarpong, who was appointed by the Akufo-Addo administration in December 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His appointment was formally confirmed in a letter delivered by Dr. Calistus Mahama, Executive Secretary to the President.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to sources, Mr. Sarpong has been directed to transfer his responsibilities to Prof. Gyampo without delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Born on March 31, 1977, in Accra, Prof. Gyampo brings a wealth of experience to his new position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
