The Management of Nduom Sports Stadium and Coconut Groove Hotel are on the heels of the Ministry of Youth and Sports claiming a cost of ?430k incurred during the 2018 Africa Women\u2019s AFCON.<\/p>\n
Reports after the tournament were that the Sports Ministry owed the the Elmina-based entity for its usage during the tournament.<\/p>\n
The reports were flatly denied by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.<\/p>\n
But the management of the two entities led by Philip Lud is claiming the Sports Ministry owe them ?430,000.<\/p>\n
Speaking on Nimde3 FM, the manager of the companies PHILIP LUD, said, they have written to the Ministry to settle the debt but to no avail.<\/p>\n
The two be ientities could turn attention to the court soon to address their grievances.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s true the Ministry of Youth and Sports owe Nduom Stadium and Coconut Groove Hotel ?430,000,\u201d Philip Lud said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have written so many letters to the consultant, the Deputy Minister but to no avail. We are urging the Government to pay our money to us,\u201d he ordered.<\/p>\n
The Nduom Sports Stadium was used as a training facility during the tournament while some of the teams lodged at the Coconut Groove Hotel.<\/p>\n
The 2018 AWCON tournament was won by Nigeria after defeating South Africa.<\/p>\n
