In a remarkable show of compassion and community service, Dream Shapers Foundation (DSF) partnered with Street Aid Girls (S.Aid) to mark the latter’s 25th Anniversary Celebration with a special empowerment and health outreach program at Kimbu, Accra, in 2019.

The event brought together residents of Kimbu — including street hawkers, the homeless, and in-house girls supported by Street Aid — for a day filled with free medical screening and skills empowerment sessions. The health team conducted malaria testing, blood pressure checks, and blood sugar level screening, while DSF volunteers led practical empowerment training focused on hygiene, self-reliance, and small business skills.

Speaking at the event, a representative from Dream Shapers Foundation emphasized the organization’s continuous commitment to supporting marginalized groups, especially young women and street children, through sustainable empowerment and health programs.

“Our partnership with Street Aid Girls reflects our shared mission — to give every young woman, regardless of her circumstances, a chance to live a healthier, more dignified life,” the DSF spokesperson stated.

The celebration also featured motivational talks, music, and community engagement activities that encouraged residents to prioritize health and personal development.

This partnership is part of DSF’s broader “Bringing Hope to All” initiative — a series of nationwide outreach programs aimed at promoting social inclusion, gender empowerment, and environmental sustainability across Ghana
