Ghana To Wear Red Against Benin Tonight

The senior national soccer team, The Black Stars will this evening don their red Puma jersey as they face Benin in their opening Group F game at the Ismailai Stadium in the on-going 2019 Afcon in Egypt.

The Stars who are known by their all white apparel, will make do with the red as agreed at the technical meeting on Monday.

Benin will be in white for the encounter. The game comes off at 8pm (GMT).

Ghana’s helmsman Akwasi Appiah is leaving no stone unturned as he has named a strong team to do the job in this evening’s game.

It is the prayer of every Ghanaian to see the team go all the way to winning the diadem, as it has become a wild goose chase in recent Afcon editions, since Ghana annexed the trophy in 1982 in Libya.
