Are We Really Serious As A People To Allow A Party That We Voted For To Destroy Buildings – Ambolley

The idea of putting up a cathedral by the government have been met with mixed reactions from a cross-section of Ghanaians.

Once such person is popular highlife musician, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, who has questioned the rational behind collapsing newly-built structures to make way for the national cathedral.

“Are we really serious as a people to allow a party that we voted for to destroy buildings that were built in 2017 to pave the way for a cathedral? Is this the only location to put up a cathedral? We’ve allowed intellectually Castrated religion introduced to us by the colonial masters to blind our way of thinking. Heaven helps those who help themselves. Our elders have turned their back on our culture and have failed the children who are the future with intellectually Castrated minds through the so called Christianity. (Man know thyself)”, Ambolley posted.
