Valencia striker Rodrigo was the man of the moment for Spain, after his brace in Gijon saw the national side continue their 100 per cent winning streak.
The striker found the back of the net in the opening stages of the match, before popping up shortly after the second-half restart to double his tally and Spain’s margin.
Paco Alcacer added his two strikes in the dying moments, as Spain cemented their dominance. Roberto Moreno’s side dominate qualification Group F, with the maximum 18 points from six matches played.
