SISTER DEBBIE TALKS ABOUT ENVIRONMENT
Ghanaian Musician and International model, Deborah Vanessa Owusu-Bonsu, commonly known as Sister Derby, is one of the many Ghanaian public figures who have come out to express worry about how filthy our environment and sea shores are.
She even sent across some sort of petition to the government to abolish the use of plastic in the country. Something she believes when it’s implemented, our country will be freed of excess dirt. But nothing has been done about that.

Reminiscing how our beaches were a sight to behold years ago and comparing how our beaches are these days, the Uncle Obama hitmaker, took to twitter saying…..”Growing up in Accra, my mother will take my siblings and I to the beach every single weekend. Sometimes we will go outside Accra to Winneba or Cape-Coast to swim. All i would see at the shores are sea shells and I would pick as many as I could”
These days, are sea shores are engulfed with dirt, from plastic waste, to human excreta and what have you, making our beaches not beatiful and attractive enough to visit.
