VICE PRESIDENT CUT SOD FOR THE NEW ARMY HEADQUARTERS DURING THE ARMY WEEK CELEBRATION
The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on September 27, 2019, commissioned the new Army Headquarters Annex office and also cut a sod for the new Army Headquarters Complex at Burma Camp, Accra, when he joined The Ghana Army in celebrating this year’s Army Week.

Speaking at the celebration grounds, Dr. Bawumia reaffirmed government’s commitment to ensure that, security services get the required logistics and necessary training to carry out their opereations and also safeguard the safety of the Country.

He further urged the troops to continue working to promote civil-military relations and forge a closer relation with their civilian counterparts to promote healthy relations in Ghana.
This year’s celebration, is under the theme ‘Ghana Army – Providing Security For National Development.
