In a lengthy and reflective post, singer-songwriter Solange Knowles has announced that she and her husband, Alan Ferguson, have decided to separate. The “Cranes in the Sky” singer took to her Instagram to reveal the news, describing her former spouse as “a phenomenal man.”
“11 years ago I met a phenomenal man who changed every existence of my life,” she wrote. “Early this year we separated and parted ways, (and tho it ain’t nan no body business). I find it necessary to protect the sacredness of my personal truth and to live in it fully.”
