Chibsah Encourages Meteors To Fight On

Former Black Meteors captain Yusif Alhassan Chibsah has urged the national U23 team to continue to fight hard to qualify for the Olympic Games next year in Tokyo, Japan.

Chibsah who captained the Meteors to their last outing at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece, is of the firm belief that the team can still sail through after today’s loss to Ivory Coast in the semis.

Chibsah took took to twitter to share words of encouragement to the team after their game against Cote D ́Ivoir in a penalty.

¨All is not lost. The Black Meteors have really fought a good fight so far. Now we can not let all these be in vain. Let’s grab the last ticket to tokyo Insha Allah¨
