GFA Announces New Premier League Date
Ghana Football Association(GFA) has set 21st December 2019 as the date for the commencement of the much awaited 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.
The schedule for the new season was announced through a press release signed by acting GFA general secretary, Alex Asante, detailing the process for registration of players to club licensing, as well as submission and declaration of venues and strips to be used by clubs, etc.
The 2018/2019 season was halted after the Anas and Tiger Eye PI´s ¨Number 12¨ expose on the corrupt practices bedevilling our football as well as the African continent, which resulted in FIFA and the government of Ghana forming a Normalization Committee (NC) to steer the affairs of football matters in the country.

The association has also released a guide lines for the upcoming season beginning with registration of players and officials by participating clubs.
