Ace journalist, Bobie Ansah is questioning what the Akufo-Addo led government would base its campaign on ahead of the 2020 general elections.

He is, also, wondering what the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is going to tell Ghanaians on corruption and the $1m per constituency as they were major campaign promises by the government.

Bobie Ansah post below:

“2020 will be one of the most difficult elections year for Akufo Addo, for this reason I am sure he has now see the wisdom in what JM said waaay back in 2016; that Akufo Addo and his team don’t know what it takes to be president, and therefore should wait till they get there before they can bisect their mouth on governance.

I wonder what Akufo Addo and his team are going to say on corruption, practically now they’ve stopped shouting corruption. They are now defending family and friends they used for campaign in 2016, misusing the taxpayers money stinks, the galamsey matters they used against JM has backfired on their faces and that they now have a huge task to get the kind of votes they got in 2016 from the galamsey areas.

The $1m per constituency was used to hoodwink the ignorant voters in 2016 and now time is near for the party reps at the constituency levels to explain to the ppl what the govt has done for them with that money..; boreholes and toilets?? …. matter come paaaa. Is likely NPP is going to lose more constituencies because of this scam. They’ve suddenly stopped talking about the dams…?

Look there’s tooo much anger in the north about this project as the ppl feel it’s the biggest scam ever for a govt to perpetuate against them. I won’t bother myself with free shs mpo…; Ghanaian parents I know are not stupid as Akufo Addo may think.

Infrastructure I know they won’t dare go there to use as a campaign issue, noooooo! The only option available for Akufo Addo is violence.., beyond that nothing left for him.

JM must just show full commitment to the ppl through his message and a good running mate and he’s good to go.
Enjoy celebrating Christ our Lord”
