Paul Adom Otchere Takes Oliver Mark Vormawor To The Cleaners
Host of popular Metro TV program, Good Evening Ghana (GEG), Paul Adom Otchere, says Oliver Barker-Vormowor is insane to request the Ghana Police permit him lead an armed demonstration on Saturday, June 4 2022.
Touching on the issue, Adom Otchere revealed that, Oliver Mark Vormawor needs a serious psychological attention for his penchant for always mongering scare. He was in awe as to how a person could come up with letter of such inimical contents. Barker-Vormowor, according to the letter, was acting on behalf of the “Fix The Country” group who were seeking to share their grievances on Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), spend three days at the lawns of the Jubilee House, etc on the day of their purported demonstration.
” Such childishness and naivety. They think building a nation is some kids’ play. Such folly. They think, they can come back from London, with their megalomania; with their shoulders rising higher than their head… We all can’t support NDC or NPP but we must ave a common ground on some basic principles, that such foolishness in our society must not be tolerated; this is foolishness!”, Adom Otchere said.
” This young man writes to the Police seeking permission to demonstrate, and he says he wants to arm the demonstrators, that kind of talk, insane talk like that, and the next minute, he is on social media begging, what is he begging for, are you sick”, Adom Otchere quizzed.
Adom Otchere queried the decision of the demonstrators on why and how they chose June 4 as that date for the demonstration, ” this date is banished from our history, that nobody wants to remember, but when you have opportunities who are insane, that is the date they chose. an opportunist who is insane is the one who chooses June 4 to try and show something”.
Adom Otchere questioned if the Public Order Act says anywhere that you can have private security to protect you when you are demonstrating? You must be insane, you must have megalomania to write to the police and say you will use private security.
” Foolish boy! You write to the police and say that the demonstrators have to contract private security personnel and they will be armed, where are you going to have the arms from? In Ghana, we don’t have the rules in America that you can just buy ammunition and he thought that he was just joking; you see they are so petty. And he wrote to Captain Smart that he wants to make the letter scarier?
It worth mentioning that, Oliver Mark Vormawor, on behalf of the demonstrators, has rendered an apology to the whole country for their “untoward” intention.
Furthermore, the police had earlier declined their request.
