Contributions Of Some Churches Towards The National Cathedral Project

 

The National Cathedral project has no doubt received a lot of controversial attention regarding its financing over the last couple of weeks.
A list purported to be for churches which have contributed funds to the the project has been making rounds in the media space.

As a personal ambition of President Akufo-Addo, he on the day of the cathedral’s inauguration indicated that the $400 million estimated project, was to be financied through private sources.
Thus when it came to light that, some funds from government had been spent on the project, a section of the general public questioned why and how this situation has arisen.
As a result of the controversy, lot of revelations are springing up as regards the financing of the project.
