‘Mahama’s Food Unfit For Dogs Comment Is Unpresidential And Vulgar’ – Education Min. PRO To Mahama
Kwasi Kwarteng, P.R.O for the Education Ministry has urged former President John Mahama to render an apology to Ghanaian children for likening the food they eat to that for dogs.
On his campaign tour of the Central Region, Mr. Mahama expressed his disgust at the poor nature of food that is served in the various Senior High Schools as part of Free Senior High School program.
John Mahama, worried that the poor nature of food that is served the students will make them sick and uncomfortable.
“Today if you go to the schools to see the food the children are eating in the schools…you shudder to serve that food to your dogs at home,” he told delegate and party members in the Asikuma Odomi Brakwa Constituency
But Kwarteng responding to the former president, says Mr. Mahama was unpresidential in his comments.
Mr. Kwarteng, in a Facebook post, noted that former President John Mahama is known for his unpresidential remarks but little did we know he could be such loose, vulgar and low. How do you equate food for human beings to that of dogs? Jesus Christ!
” Mr. Mahama is not only wrong in demeaning our collective efforts in providing quality education for Ghanaian students but he is also wrong in reducing the school children to dogs. That’s insulting.
“Comments like these are not acceptable. Is backward, retrogressive, negative and unpresidential”.
“Somebody whose leadership witnessed the worst educational outcomes ever, shouldn’t be making such comments. He should apologize to Ghanaian children!”
