The donation, presented at a brief ceremony in Accra, is intended to support YDE ongoing programs and projects that provide skills training, job placement, and entrepreneurship opportunities for young Ghanaians.

Speaking at the event, Nii Armah expressed his commitment to fostering economic growth through youth empowerment. “The future of our country lies in the hands of our young people. By equipping them with the right skills and resources, we can create a sustainable path to national development,” he said.

The Chief Executive Officer of YDE, in receiving the donation, thanked Nii Armah for his support, noting that the funds would go directly into initiatives aimed at reducing unemployment and creating innovative job opportunities. “Partnerships like this show that the private sector has a critical role in complementing government efforts to address youth unemployment,” he remarked.

This contribution marks one of the largest private donations received by the agency this year and is expected to benefit hundreds of youth across the country through training programs, start-up funding, and job creation projects.
