  • Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen says “Europe won’t be blackmailed” in response to Trump’s threat to tariff eight Nato members over Greenland 
  • The leaders of Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the UK warn in a joint statement that Trump’s plan risks a “dangerous downward spiral”
  • The eight countries says they stand firmly behind “the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity” for Greenland despite threats of a 10% tariff
  • Meanwhile, thousands have been protestingagainst Trump’s plans in Greenland and Denmark
