Choirmaster Announces Death of Wife Beverly Afaglo

Ghanaian musician Choirmaster has announced the heartbreaking death of his wife, actress Beverly Afaglo.

The sad news was shared by the musician, popularly known as Choirmaster and formerly a member of the hiplife group Praye, through an emotional social media post on Sunday, May 24, 2026.  

In his tribute, the musician described Beverly Afaglo as his source of strength, happiness, and greatest supporter. He expressed deep sorrow over her passing, noting that her death came just a few days before her birthday.  

Choirmaster wrote that his heart was “shattered beyond words” and promised to continue the plans and dreams they had started together as a family. The emotional message has since drawn an outpouring of condolences from fans, colleagues, actors, musicians, and members of the Ghanaian entertainment industry.  

At the time of reporting, the cause of Beverly Afaglo’s death has not been officially disclosed.  

Beverly Afaglo was widely known for her roles in Ghanaian movies and television productions and was admired for her vibrant personality and entrepreneurial spirit. She was married to Choirmaster, whose real name is Eugene Baah, and together they shared a long-standing relationship in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
